Louis Vuitton Announces Yayoi Kusama Exhibition

Louis Vuitton announces its upcoming exhibitions, highlighting two new shows exploring Yayoi Kusama’s work and the fashion house’s history.

Titled YAYOI KUSAMA – INFINITY – Selected Works from the Collection, the new exhibit opens July 16. In alignment with the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, Japan, it explores Kusama’s childhood memories of hallucinations that inspired her artistry.

The press release reads, “At the heart of the exhibition, the first of her many Infinity Mirror Rooms, Infinity Mirror Room, welcomes visitors to become disorientated as they immerse themselves in a world of endlessly repeated polka dots.” The show — covered in Kusama’s signature polka dots — is presented in conjunction with the poem “Every Day I Pray for Love.”

Elsewhere, the fashion house announces the opening of the Visionary Journeys exhibit. The show also coincides with World Expo Osaka Kansai 2025 and marks 170 years since the founding of the House, the exhibition offers a transformative journey through Louis Vuitton’s creative heritage and its enduring cultural dialogue with Japan. Presenting at the Nakanoshima Museum of Art, the show runs from July 15 to September 17, 2025.
