From John Lennon and Paul McCartney to Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, history has no shortage of iconic creative collaborations. Oftentimes, the work that’s produced by a pair of collaborators is distinct from, or at times even transcends, what an individual artist may have made on their own. While the “lonely artist” trope may still exist, it’s safe to say that some of culture’s greatest works are indebted to artistic alliances.
