Editor’s pick — Accessory quick take: key highlight (movement/specs for watches, materials/finish, limited run, pricing tier) in 1–2 lines.
What We Know
Announced slightly ahead of Watches and Wonders, Trilobe has added a new variant to their recently released first-ever in-house movement and integrated-bracelet design. The Trilobe Trente Deux Secret adds the brand’s made-to-measure star-dial treatment, with a central sunburst-lacquered finish and a dial pad printed with whatever star chart (any date, location, and time) the owner requests.

The raised, pad-printed numerals at the edge rotate around the dial, aligning with the Trilobe logo to indicate the current hour. Minutes are shown in a smaller aperture, with a small arrow pointing to them as they wander through. Seconds rotate quickly in the largest internal window on the dial. The multi-layer display is eye-catching, with the seconds wheel combining azuré and Clou de Paris guilloché, while the circular flange has satin and mirror-polished finishing.
There are two case options for the still relatively new integrated bracelet shape (with its winged design and crown guards). The cases measure 39.5mm by 10.15mm, but now they come in both stainless steel and 18k rose gold. The stainless steel examples come with a stainless steel bracelet, and a rubber strap is available for purchase. The 18k rose gold option is only available on a rubber strap. Gold is pretty expensive, if you haven’t heard. Then there’s the movement inside—the brand’s first in-house caliber—which we covered here. The basics are that it has a 42-hour power reserve, automatic winding, and a 4 Hz beat rate.

These watches aren’t limited in the traditional sense, but the brand is making them bespoke based on client orders. The price in steel is €4,000 more than the standard edition, now €21,500, while the 18k rose gold piece is €39,500.
What We Think
I was plenty impressed with Trilobe’s Trente Deux last year, though it was maybe a tad bit expensive for me. That said, I do think this customization option is an interesting addition. That, with the rubber strap and the 18k rose gold case, is enough to make this a release worth flagging to the public, but at $46,000 in gold (without a bracelet), there’s a lot of competition at the price. Would you rather have this sporty option or something else? At least this one would be personalized.
